The MWM Challenge

The Challenge is a season long side-competition that takes place in the Western States Racing League (WSRLRacing.com) among all of the competitors in the series.

The Challenge:

Attend every event and be there when the checkers fall.

Current Standings and Past Results

Details, Fine Print, Etc.

At the end of each season the WSRL rewards the top 3 drivers in the points standings. But there are drivers who attend week after week who don’t necessarily finish in the top 3 at season end. Bad luck, penalties and more intervene; we’ve all been there. Since the end of the Busch Series on Tuesdays, it’s even harder to get one of those plaques.

At MWM we came up with a program for drivers in the WSRL aimed at increasing participation and providing recognition to drivers, allowing everyone an equal opportunity to be recognized for the hard work, dedication and the gumption that it takes to complete races. You’re not competing against anyone but yourself and each track, and potentially everyone in the league could win. ANYONE and EVERYONE who meets the Challenge will be presented an award similar to the WSRL plaques.

To win, a driver must finish all points races within a season with a status of "Running". Because of the nature of plate racing, Talladega and Daytona will NOT be included in the Challenge. The Tuesday and Friday Series are SEPARATE challenges. Drivers have the opportunity to win awards in both series.

Provisionals: People have lives, take vacations and have other responsibilities that take priority over sim-racing. In addition, drivers can encounter random equipment failures, connection-related boots and more. For this reason, participants can use two provisionals (per series) and remain eligible for the challenge.
